Eliminate masthead on Polestar theme

I’m using the Polestar theme and need to completely remove/hide the header/masthead at the top, including the search icon and page name. Here’s my site: http://torchtalks.com/light/

Thanks for your help!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Lance

    At CustomizeTheme SettingsHeader, disable the sticky header. At CustomizeAdditional CSS, add:

    .site-header {
        display: none;
    }

    Hope that helps :)

    Thanks, Andrew, for the quick response!

    1 more quick questions, if I may, without opening new threads:how do I remove the dark grey line that sits between the TORCH hero graphic and the first row of my page?

    Nevermind. I got it removed.

    Different final question though: In my last row before the footer, you’ll see a white TORCH wordmark in the top right hand corner of the row. How do I get that cell/widget to v-align that logo graphic down to the bottom instead?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Glad to hear you’ve been making progress. Please, try the Cell Vertical Alignment setting. We’ve outlined it here: Post: SiteOrigin Page Builder Cell Vertical Alignment Feature

    Sorry, I should’ve said in my question that I had seen that post and tried that already. I used a Layout Builder widget, set the row’s cell v-alignment to “bottom,” then used an image widget inside that row for the image. Still showing at the top of the original row.

    Nevermind! I found the setting that was causing the conflict.
