Editor Text Turned White

Hello,

The editor was working fine, but now the selector tags changed to white and I cannot see them on the pale background. The text also turned white, but it is still there when I highlight it. I can still see the changes to CSS on the first page (before I click on the eye). It’s just the text on the next page after I click the eye. I have the theme OceanWP and an active plugin called Elementor. I deactivated Elementor with no success, then activated it back again. I also deactivated SiteOrgin CSS and activated it back but nothing changed. I cleared caches. Is there anything else I can do?

Thank you,

Maria

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Maria,

This sounds like a rare WordPress update issue. Please disable CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS, which will require editing wp-config.php. If you need help with disabling this, please get in contact with your hosting provider.

Once disabled, please try editing your pages now. If the issue remains, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If that doesn’t help, you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
