Easy Digital Downloads incompatibility

Hi!

There is one problem using the Page Builder in EDD “download” post types. As soon as I activate the plugin, the “Purchase” button disappears.

How can I solve that?

    Hi joanboluda

    Is there a download button that disappears in the front end or is it just in the admin section? Off the top of my head, I think the best solution would be to disable Page Builder for any EDD post types in Settings > Page Builder. Let me know if that does the trick.

    I’m a huge fan of EDD, so I’d be great to try figure out what the issue is.

    And it’s an absolute pleasure – thanks for thinking our work is amazing :)

    Hi Greg!

    In the frontend. It’s a shame because I’m also a huge fan of EDD and I would like to use Page Builder on the downloads pages. If I deactivate it of course it works, but then I can’t use it.

    Maybe you are using the same filter to modify the content and your filter is overriding Pippin’s one? I’m not sure about that.

    I’ve logged this as a fairly high priority issue in Page Builder. I’ll take a look at it as soon as I have the chance. It is very likely that we’re both using the_content filter at different times and that’s causing the issue, but maybe there’s a way to get our 2 plugins playing nicely together.

    I just installed Easy Digital Downloads and then WordPress crashed. I had to delete it using File Manager. Is there a similar Digital Download WordPress plugin that works with Advantage Premium?
