I’m pretty sure this is a dumb question, and that I know the answer BUT…
I presume that your Vantage theme has no relation to the Vantage theme created by Themebound (https://www.appthemes.com/themes/vantage/). I kind of figured this out after downloading your free theme and trying to install a “Vantage” child theme from Themebound on top of it, which then crashed the site.
Maybe both companies should make note on your website that there is another theme by the same name? Just a thought…
Guess I’ll need to do my homework more thoroughly in the future as this will cost me another $99 now to get my site up and running.

This is unfortunately a case of mistaken identity. There is quite a lot of this in the theme world. We’re clearly labelling all our themes as SiteOrigin themes in the future to try avoid this confusion. For example, our next theme is called SiteOrigin North, instead of just North.
