Does my theme need to be de-activated if moving my wordpress site?

I’ve been looking into moving my installed WordPress site from a subdomain to the root domain, and was curious as to how the Vantage Premium theme activation will work. Will it remain active or should I de-activate it until the move is complete? Also, will I still be able to use it on the new url, or will I need to buy another license for Premium for an updated validation code?

I intend to use the All-In-One WP Migration plugin for the site move, if that makes a difference.
