Is it possible to have different page-align for different Vantage pages? Some need align left and some need align center.

div {
font-size: 101%;
text-align: center;
}

    You can align text left, right or center using the Visual editor in WordPress or the Black Studio Visual Editor in Page Builder: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/. You can also use Page Builder to create columns and move content around as required. That’s about all you can do within Vantage at the moment.

    If you use the Visual Editor and Black Studio, highlight text, click “center” (it centers), and then click update, and then click on Visual View again, the center alignment is stripped out.

    If you use Text and manually enter text-align: “center”, and click update, and then text view, the align-text has been stripped out.

    2. If I am not doing something wrong, and this is a limitation of Vantage, how do I go about creating custom CSS to that some pages are left aligned and some pages are center aligned?

    I am going to have to give this to a custom web developer, but I need to explain to them what is required.

    Text alignment is functional in Vantage using both the Visual Editor in Posts and Pages as well as in the Black Studio widget in Posts and Pages.

    At this stage I’m not certain what the issue might be. Ensure you’re updating both the widget and the the page after changing alignment. Then run through some standard troubleshooting, if you’re running a child theme or Custom CSS, remove all your changes and see if the issue reverts.

    The Widget is the basic text-edit widget, which doesn’t have any formatting, so there isn’t anything to update or save in the widget.

    Is there a different widget that could insert centered text into Page Builder?

    To use a TinyMCE in Page Builder install and use: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/.

    Thanks Andrew. I was using the standard text widget, not the TinyMCE widget in Page Builder. My mistake. Now I can center align the text. But not the Headline. It remains left justified.

    Any ideas?

    In that instance you’d need to use Custom CSS to resolve. Our tutorial on making small changes like that can be found here:

    Most excellent. That did it.

    Thanks.
