I am looking for an relatively easy theme to build a site. I have been at it about 4 months and have nothing yet. I thought your theme wold work. But now I doubt it. I almost sent the 50 bucks. So…
1)I did not understand the drag and drop. The 1st thing I tried was the circle Icon. Were are the icons to drag and drop? I installed Origin Widgets and the Button Widget and Page Builder Legacy Widgets. I go to page builder, pick the CIrcle Icon and get the message ” You can edit this home page using our free, drag and drop Page Builder, or simply disable it to fall back to a standard blog. It’s a powerful page building experience.” Then it what me to fill out a form, that I do not know the answers to.
Is the form the circle icon?
2) I don’t know code. It seem I will need to enter a lot of code…is that true.

Sorry to hear you haven’t been having a great experience so far. The Page Builder is a free plugin that should be fairly easy to install. When you’re being asked to fill in a form, I think that’s probably WordPress file management system trying to get permission to write the files required for Page Builder.
You can also just download the plugin from SiteOrigin and do a manual plugin installation.

And no, you wont need to know code to build a site. Just read the documentation for Vantage and Page Builder.

1) I like the theme and intend on purchasing it if I can get things going.)
2) will study the section regarding code. I have a mental glitch that makes write code difficult. I transpose and drop letters and numbers…a lot! Tried computer programming and I knew what to do, but could never write the code error free…and nothing works that way…smile. Knowing some code would be a good thing.
I uploaded and installed page-builder. As it turned out…it was already installed giving an error saying it existed. I went and deleted the file thinking there could be an error. I installed the file and I had the same results. I will copy that here. This may be what I am supost to get but I don’t know

I don’t what they look like so not sure how to fill this out. I think I can work on the URL fields as long at I’m sending someone to a different page or it a google button, or something like that. The ICON is a drop down and part of the content is this without the code.

Hi Michael. Glad to hear you’re making progress. Are you asking how best to use the fields of the Circle Icon widget?
I was determining if what I was looking at, as I described, was the drag and drop feature of the Page Builder. By your reaction I assume it is. I think I have decided not to use the theme, too much code.

The drag and drop feature of our Page Builder plugin refers to the ability to drag and drop widgets within the Page Builder interface. Page Builder is a plugin that can optionally be used in our themes but is not the same thing as our theme in this case.
You shouldn’t have to work with any code whatsoever so if you want further help…let me know where you have been working with code up to this point.
I installed the snapshot theme. How do I get to the drag and drop? I suck at code and really need to get my webpage up and running how i would like. I love the look of the display page with your theme! How do I get to the drag and drop and not have to write code, but get the similar look as your webpage???
