Okay…I loaded up The page builder and created a working page. I then began building a page using the preset templates. Using the “”Creative Agency” template, I went into the slider and replaced the three default images and added some more for a total of eight images.
When I “Preview” the slider (using the siteorigin slider preview function) my images appear. Yet, when I preview the page, the default imgaes return ((even though I previously deleted them). I have cleared my cache, also cleared my cache using a cache utility. I logged out and returned…same thing. Shut my laptop down and checked it with my iPad…same thing.
My plan was (if pagebuilder worked) was to buy the premium version. So far, I’m not seeing anything telling me it’s worth the purchase.
Anyone have any ideas why the default slider images remain and my images won’t show?
I’m having same issue, but not only with SiteOrigin, also with InsertCart as well, maybe it’s a 4.7 issue.
When I tried to get the images to stick, I set up each frame, saved it and then saved the page as a draft. Then, I tried to view it by “Previewing” the page. It didn’t work. I later renamed the page as “_working-page”, saved it, cleared the cache and then viewed it using the WordPress “view page” link at the top of the dashboard.
It was kind of a pain in the butt, yet it worked using the change, “save, clear cache, view” cycle. Once I got the page where I wanted it, I renamed it and reassigned it as my Home page. I’ve since made littke changes to the page and it stuck. Hopefully that will help you.
