This is possible using the “Circle Background Image URL” field. Just add a widget to your page, make sure that you have “none” selected as the icon, then enter the URL of your own image.
You can upload your images into the WordPress media library by navigating to Media > Add New. After you’ve uploaded the image, click edit and you’ll be able to find it’s full URL.
