Customize settings won’t save

11 years ago · Last reply by Greg Priday 11 years ago

Hi there,

I have a very strange problem with a completely new install of WordPress 4.1 with Vantage Premium theme. The only plugins I currently have are Site Origin PageBuilder & Widgets Bundle, JetPack & Mojo Marketplace.

When I go into Customize and try to add a Masthead image it does not display in the preview window and it doesn’t save – although it does display in the area where you add the image in left hand pane.. When I click Save & Publish and then go back in to Customize the image has gone and it never appears on the site.

A similar thing happens when I try to change the Header padding or Menu padding. Although these changes DO display in the preview window, when I Save and Publish the settings go back to default and the site does not change.

The site is currently in Coming soon mode…

I have another site with Vantage and I have set this up before with no problem.

Any clue what might be happening?

Thanks,
janie

    Hi Janie

There is a bit of a bug in the Vantage Customizer in version 2.3. We have out developer, Braam, working on the issue right now. We’ll publish a fix as soon as it’s ready. Very sorry about that.
