custom page layouts

I am new to WordPress and have purchased the premium version of the theme Vantage. Different people will be adding content so I want to set up 3 custom page layouts that I can use for the different types of pages that will have content. I need to save the templates so they can be selected each time.

Is there a guide to doing this or can you tell me the best way to approach this – is it through Pagebuilder?
