Custom CSS not working for pages

Hi,
I have the SiteOrigin North theme. And I usually use the Custom CSS with the eye tool to make changes to my website’s design.

But now for some reason it’s not working now. I am trying to edit the blog page, and it doesn’t display properly, so I can’t see it and make changes. Only the homepage display is okay.

I have emptied my cache and deactivated all my non-SiteOrigin plugins, but it’s still not working.

Can you tell me a way to fix it, please?

Thanks
Poulomi

To be specific, Custom CSS is actually fine for pages, not blog posts. The post display on the right side of the screen is only a little on the top, and I also can’t make any changes to the post design.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Poulomi

    Thanks for posting.

I’m not sure what would cause the preview for posts to break. Please, start by looking for a working baseline. This can be done via a plugin conflict test, details below.

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hi Andrew,
As I already mentioned in my first post, I did the check already. That’s the first thing I did. Disabled all plugins, cleared my cache (as per your advice on my previous post https://siteorigin.com/thread/want-menu-to-expand-only-on-hover/). And it still didn’t work.

So the plugins are not the problem.

Also as I specified, I am using the SiteOrigin North theme. That’s why I am posting on the SiteOrigin forum.

But without the plugins my site was a mess, so I re-installed. Anyway as I said, that method didnt work anyway.

So if you think you can help with this issue, I will do the disabling and emptying cache again. Please let me know.

Btw it’s not just the Custom CSS, the Advanced CSS editor still also doesn’t preview for blog posts.

You could take a look at my Custom CSS and see if there’s a problem there? Last time I had a problem there (in the menu), you told me there was an issue there, and it got fixed.

    Thank you,
    Poulomi

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the update. Please, could you take a screenshot of the Custom CSS editor showing the problem so I can get a better understanding of what’s happening? You could upload the screenshot to imgur.com or any sharing site. Thanks again.
