Custom Column Widths – feature request?

If this has been posted elsewhere, my apologies as I did a search and wasn’t able to find anything. Please just post the link.

First, I am really enjoying using PageBuilder. As someone who knows very little CSS it allowing me to make some good looking sites with minimum of fuss. If only other plugins were so well behaved!

However, I’ve used other shortcode plugins that allow me to customize the width of columns. (And while there are so many to choose from the drop down menu in PageBuilder, there are few I’d actually use.)

In this case I’d like to make a page that is 3 columns wide: | 25% | 50% | 25% | but the closest available from the drop down is an even 3×33.3%, which isn’t really what I want… I’ve tried various widths up to 6 columns with

But at some time I might like to use | 25% | 60% | 15% |

1. Can I make the three columns I’m after with PB
2. **Feature Request** Or better still, After selecting the number of columns (3), at the bottom of the drop down menu add ‘Custom Width – NB All columns must total 100%”

So I’m not sure if I have completely missed how to do this, or whether this can be done easily with code – thank you in advance for your help – or if (2) would be a feature request.

Many thanks for your patience, time and assistance, Dave

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Nextstep,

Thank you for the kind words! :)

I think you’ve missed how to do this or I’ve misunderstood you. Please try openning up a row you wish to adjust the columns for and click the percentage amount. This will allow you to manually adjust the column widths. I highly recommend using tab to prevent us from automatically changing the width a bit too quickly.

Is that what you’re after? Or is it slightly different?

Yes, you were right. I missed both those elegant solutions. Nice!

    Thank you for your help!
