CSS Changes Lost

Just upgraded Origami, not thinking, lost all the changes I had made to the style.css file. Any help available for this? Don’t have a backup made by me.

    Hi ijane

    There is unfortunately no resolution for this from a theme perspective. If your hosting company has backups you can roll back but that’s about it. Sorry for the bad news.

    Any changes made to theme files should be done in a child theme to prevent update loss. Each time your theme upgrades to a new version all files are overwritten. Appearance > Custom CSS is the best place for your CSS edits, here is our tutorial on that aspect: https://siteorigin.com/basics/modifying-theme-design-with-custom-css/
