css editing of Hero Subtitle (Tagline)

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

Love your stuff. I’m a web idiot and really appreciate it.

I’ve been looking put more WOW in my header and have been trying to increase the text size of my subtitle/tagline. Having downloaded and installed your CSS Plugin (OMG) I find that every time I edit that line I also edit all paragraphical text for the entire site. Upon review, sure enough, it’s putting a p> prior to code creation. I have tried to change it to a million (OK about 5) different other names hoping it will respond. Alas, it does not. I have also deleted the code and reapplied my request to only that bit of text three times now. Same result every time. Do you have a name for that line of text? Can I create an affectation for just that line? How do I accomplish this? PLEASE HELP!!

Thank you so much, in advance,

Kat

    Hi Katskratch,

You’ll need to be more specific with your CSS to prevent it from affecting.
