Creating a comment link from main blog post

By jess m, 9 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 9 years ago.

Hi,

Is there a way to put a ‘comment’ button or link on each post on the main page?

At the moment, people can only make comments if they click on the title of each post. Unless you are a blogger and/or know about this, you would just look at the post and assume there is no section for comments!

I’m very new to wordpress and so far have been using plugins for all of my editing, so have no idea how to use code!.

Thanks in advance,

Jess

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Jess

Using the more tag: http://en.support.wordpress.com/splitting-content/more-tag/ you can split your content and ensure readers head over to the single post page to continue reading your posts.

    Hope that helps.
