    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Zain

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

I’ve deactivated all the non-SiteOrigin plugins but still content is not updating on site

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks. Next steps:

    1. With all non-SiteOrigin plugins off for the moment, go to Dashboard > Updates. If there is an update pending for the WordPress core or your theme, or our plugins, run them.

    2. Re-test.

    3. If still failing, switch to a default theme like Twenty Fifteen and re-test.

    Hi, I Work Here

Ok, so to test that we’d need to leave WooCommerce on, right? So the test would then be:

    Plugins activated:
    Page Builder
    WooCommerce

If test fails, switch to Twenty Fifteen, re-test.

The testing process is about trying to remove everything possible. If we fix the problem we then slowly add elements back until it breaks again.

I have deactivated all the plugins except Page Builder and WooCommerce and then try to edit the content. It doesn’t work. Then I’ve tried to switch the theme to twenty fifteen and then edit the content. It works perfectly…

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks.

    1. Which theme are you using?
    2. Please check for JS errors with your main theme activated and report back if possible:

I am using the twenty thirteen theme

I have updated the content in the backend and went to phpmyadmin to check whether anything is updated in database or not. I checked for that post in postmeta table and found two columns ‘_panels_data_preview’ and ‘panels_data’. panel_data contained the updated text and _panels_data_preview contains the old text. Now I am not sure which column’s value is being fetched at frontend by page builder plugin.

The same problem is reported here in this post : https://wordpress.org/support/topic/front-end-editor-not-updating-content-in-pagebuilder-widget

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for your help here Zain. I’m testing locally with Twenty Thirteen, WooCommerce and a SiteOrigin Editor widget, Text widget and Visual Editor widget with no problem. Can I perhaps login and see the problem?

    Hi, I Work Here

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks. I’m not seeing the problem. I’ve added the word Test at the bottom of this page: http://www.calligrafind.com/product/florence-nightingale-3/. Anything I’m missing?

Now, please remove that from backend

    Hi, I Work Here

    Cool, testing…

    Hi, I Work Here

    Ok, I see the issue.

I can add / remove on pages: http://www.calligrafind.com/627-2/. So, it’s possible this is related to the WooCommerce template files in your theme. Are you using a child theme? If so, test Twenty Thirteen with the parent theme activated. If you’ve added files to Twenty Thirteen and aren’t using a child theme then please, switch to Twenty Fourteen and re-test.

When I am editing any text widget and update the content its not appear on site and when I added a new text widget and add content so it will appear but after removing from backend It was not removed from frontend.

    Hi, I Work Here

Cool, I’m following that. And, I can see the problem when editing a product in WooCommerce but I don’t get the issue when I edit a page in Page Builder.

You’re not using default Twenty Thirteen, so to rule out theme issues we need to test in either default Twenty Thirteen or another theme like Twenty Fourteen. This step is all about finding the source of the problem.

I’ve already test with twenty fifteen theme and its working fine but when I am trying to do these edits on twenty thirteen I will not appear on frontend

    Hi, I Work Here

The issue is then in your theme. Default Twenty Thirteen works normally in my local copy. You’re not running default Twenty Thirteen. My guess is that a problem lies somewhere in the WooCommerce files added to your theme. A simple way of testing would be to remove the WooCommerce folder from your theme folder and re-test.

I’ve also the whole site copy on my local server and the page builder working fine on my local server so I am confused that why this is not working on live server

    Hi, I Work Here

I’m not sure. There might have a been a combined WooCommerce / Page Builder change in updates. Stripping out your woocomerce folder is step one. If it resolves then add that folder back file by file. Unfortunately, no technical advise from our side. We’re not sure what the problem is so you’d need to just slowly eliminate sections until you locate the cause. Once that’s done we could look further into the problem.

    Ok, Thanks a lot..
