Content disappear after widget selection

Hi,

since the last WordPress Update I can’t edit any content of my widgets.
I can see the content in Appearance/Widgets but once I click on one of these widgets, it only shows the empty Visual Editor.
I disabled all plugins except the Widget Editor. Same problem.

Any ideas?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Assuming you haven’t inserted blocks at AppearanceWidgets you could try installing a plugin called the Classic Widgets plugin from PluginsAdd New. Is there any change after doing so? https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-widgets/.

    Hi :) It’s a guess but an easy step to try. It’ll restore the widgets area back to its classic form assuming your theme isn’t already doing so.
