Hello Super SO team,
I’m planning to use the Corp theme and purchase the Premium option in order to create a large educational website. We plan to have pages where we will collect data via several different forms. We would like the form to automatically send us an email when someone completes the form – easy to accomplish. In addition to forms being emailed, we would like to capture that data to be automatically entered into a database which we can pull reports from and query by different columns within the database. And, perhaps if the databases become excessively large, we would like to be able to set up indexes to store a variety of data structures.
Which plugins would be best for the situation described? Would a different theme be more appropriate than Corp?
Thanks for the wonderful support over the years!
All my Best!
Hi Rvm,
We use the standard WordPress mail system so you can use a plugin like WP Mail Logging to log all contact form submissions.
Alternatively, we’ve introduced a filter that will allow you to log successful contact form submissions but it will require you to use PHP to log the submission and (optionally) display it on your website. Unfortunately, this isn’t something we can directly assist with as it’ll require custom coding and that’s beyond the scope of what we can help you with. You could hire a developer to implement this for you. We recommend using Codeable. You’ll be able to hire someone at an hourly rate to do this work for you.
