Conflict between Polylang and WPBakery

By Wagner Dantas, 5 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 5 years ago.

Hi guys,

I am having this trouble when i create a language and it comes duplicated.
The problem started since i uploaded Polylang for the new version (2.5.2) and Sync the options on Languages > Synchronization.
I tried to rollback the plugin version, disable the options on Sync, disable all the plugins etc..but nothing works.
And when i try to delete all the “Uncategorized” languages it is not applyed so i have to delete straight from the database.

Hopefully someone could help me on this.

Thanks,
Wagner.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Wagner

    Thanks for posting.

I know for Page Builder, Languages > Synchronization > Custom Fields needs to be disabled. I’m not sure how that should be set up for Visual Composer though. Have you perhaps reached out to Visual Composer? They’d be best positioned to assist with a Visual Composer – Polylang question.

    Hi Andrew,
Thanks so much for your help.

I’ve recreated to catch the error from beginning so i got this message while i was trying to create an Arabic language.

    Uncaught TypeError: Argument 2 passed to WPSEO_Link_Watcher::save_post() must be an instance of WP_Post, null given, called in /home4/sdiae/public_html/sdiae.edu/updated/sdiae.edu/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 288 and defined in /home4/sdiae/public_html/sdiae.edu/updated/sdiae.edu/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/links/class-link-watcher.php:43 Stack trace: #0 /home4/sdiae/public_html/sdiae.edu/updated/sdiae.edu/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(288): WPSEO_Link_Watcher->save_post(0, NULL) #1 /home4/sdiae/public_html/sdiae.edu/updated/sdiae.edu/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(false, Array) #2 /home4/sdiae/public_html/sdiae.edu/updated/sdiae.edu/wp-includes/plugin.php(453): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #3 /home4/sdiae/public_html/sdiae.edu/updated/sdiae.edu/wp-includes/post.php(3747): do_action(‘save_post’, 0, NULL, false) #4 /home4/sdiae/public_html/sdiae.edu/updated/sdiae.edu/wp-content/plugins/polylang/include/mo.php(50): wp_insert_post(Array) #5 /home4/sdiae/public_html/sd in /home4/sdiae/public_html/sdiae.edu/updated/sdiae.edu/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/admin/links/class-link-watcher.php on line 43

I will keep trying to find a solution for this but since you have something in your mind that could help me i will be super grateful. ;)

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks. Just glancing at the error I can see there is a mention of WordPress SEO plugin.

I wish we could lend a further. If anything SiteOrigin related comes up, we’d be happy to take a look.

Try deactivating WordPress SEO and seeing if the issue persists.

    Good luck :)
