Comments on home page with HomePage plugin

Hi. I have probably easy question.

In HomePage plugin I use PostLoop widget and there I can choose template, for example content-page.php, content-single.php, content.php etc.

I want to choose content-single.php and want to show also comments from post. I know that I must add few lines in Editor but I don’t know what and where it should be placed. Can You help me with this?

    Hi Bertre

    I haven’t tried this before but I’d imagine you’d need to:

    Create a child theme.
    Insert content-single.php into the child theme.
    Copy lines 21 to 23 from single.php to say line 37 in content-single.php

    That might work.

    I tried to do this but it didn’t work and I don’t know why. It looks like HomePage plugin is not compatibile with comments commend.

    This is unfortunately more in the custom development area and a little outside of our usual support. You could perhaps consider searching for a plugin related solution. I took a look now but didn’t immediately find one.
