I don’t know if this is a bug or not but I find an A tag around my text. I didn’t set any link for the text, it just appears from nowhere.
I have provided the URL of the site. If you go the text “A trusted provider of packaged…” beside the video on homepage. You will find the text linking to “Contact Us” page, however in layout builder it is just a plain text with no link settings at all.
Please help.
I also find similar problems in footer area if you go to element inspector and check “Jim’s Story” you will find A tags are everywhere around the text. I didn’t put any of them in the footer. They just suddenly appear. I have posted this problem weeks ago but no one replied.
Hi Site Copy
If this started happening without you changing anything then it’s possible it’s related to a plugin. Have you installed any plugins recently? If so, could you try disabling them and see if that changes anything. Page Builder uses standard WordPress filters so it’s possible for another plugin to filter its content and add thinks like these links.
Something else worth checking is that you don’t have any unclosed tags in your content. The Quick Links section would be a good place to check.
Sorry we missed your last thread. Unfortunately it wasn’t marked as premium so it wasn’t properly prioritised by our system.
Hi Greg
Thanks for reply. I have tried to disable all the plugins I have, unfortunately the problem persists. All the plugins I installed on this site were used in other sites I built too and I didn’t have any similar problem on other sites. If you change the port number to 8012, you will see another site by using exactly the same plugins.
I have tried to uninstall plugins and themes, also tried redo all the content but somehow the problem remains.
Hi Site Copy
Have you managed to check your widgets though? Make sure that you have revisions enabled, then try deleting the Quick Links section of that page. As far as I can tell, this is where the unclosed link tag is.
Great! Problem solved. Thanks!
