For some reason, my columns I set up aren’t working in the SiteOrigin plugin. There are no conflicting plugins and it’s sitewide. Its on a theme built for siteorigin so thats not the problem either! please help!
Hi Belvin,
Do you by any chance have a public URL where I can take a look at the issue? This would be the best way for me to diagnose what’s going on.
yes, http://maureenandthemercury5.com/newwebsite/home/ let me know if you need access

Hi Erika,
Are you using any sort of asset optimizer or anything like that? I ask as none of the websites you’ve mentioned include front-flex.css which is required for columns to work now.
This might not help all that much for here’s the steps to resolve this issue for a similar plugin, Better WordPress minify. This can be fixed by navigating to WP AdminBWP MinifyEnqueued Files and find siteorigin-panels-front (file: front-flex.css) and select it. Click Not Minify and then Save.
Can’t see this file? Please click clear list and then view a few pages to refresh the enqueued files list.
I don't think so. One of the websites doesn't even have any extra plug ins yet.
Would you be able to look into it? I use your plugin for everything and don't know what to do!
Hi Erika,
All I can tell you at the moment is that file (front-flex.css) needs to be output or this issue will occur. On the site without any extra plugins, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? I know you may not many plugins on that site but even a single plugin conflict can cause you major issues – please run the test.
You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins. If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
So i use the same theme for each website and use their widgets which is the only thing that is up right now so if i uninstall the plugin to the widgets, the whole website won't show. would that be the only way to see

Hi Erika,
You do not have to uninstall the plugins. Temporarily disabling plugins will not result in data loss unless the plugin itself is designed to do that (which basically never happens). Your website will continue to function, although certain widgets will not show. Your looking for proper column structure, not missing widgets however so please ignore the missing widgets during the test (they will return once the plugins are reactivated).
i disabled the plugin with all the widgets i need that go with the theme and the siteorigin works. does this mean that i need to contact them and not you guys
