I cannot access the color, background, or page options under Appearance–>Customize.

Is this only a premium feature? if so why is that not stated in the documentation?

    Thanks for reaching out.

    The Customizer is a Vantage Premium feature, you can check this offering out at Appearance > Vantage Premium.

    The documentation is pending update in this regard, apologies for the hassle.
