Close mobile menu other than clicking menu button?

Is there a way to close the mobile menu dropdown other than just clicking the menu button? Ideally if the user clicks anything else other than the menu dropdown or menu button? I can code in a work around solution with jQuery but thought maybe there is a better way?

    Total Theme Plus by Hash Themes… Maybe I need to ask them?

    Hi Jesse. Thanks for your quick reply. The controlling author would be the one to lend a hand. Ideally, the mobile menu would close when clicking a menu item to help with situations like one-page navigation. I hope you’re able to make progress.
