Hi,
I want to create a child theme and followed an instruction here: http://die-netzialisten.de/wordpress/anleitung-ein-wordpress-child-theme-anlegen/

The child-template shows up in WordPress but when I press “show Live-Preview” it shows me the content with default theme-settings (e.g. black top bar). However: When I switch the theme to a child theme does Vantage keep all my template settings I made in WP-Admin-Backend?

Regards
Marcel

PS: I am premium-customer but my order number is not recognzied (Bought the theme on August 4, order number starts with 463****)

    Hi Marcel

    Apologies for the delay.

Your order number is Private Snippet.

Unfortunately, activating any child theme in WordPress causes all Appearance > Customize > Theme Design and Appearance > Menus > Menu Location settings to reset. They’ll need to be manually reapplied.

(The above snippet in grey is private).

Thank you for your help. Is it possible to export these settings from the MySQL-Database?

I’m trying to setup a automatic deployment process where I want to publish the theme on several servers in different phases like testing, staging and production. If I always have to manually set the Theme-Settings this is not possible
