Changing txt/link color, moving header links and logo

Hi there, i’ve been setting up my first WP site with SiteOrigin North theme, and it makes it a lot easier to get in to.

There are 2 things that i can’t figure out how to do, and i’ve looked around, trying different things recommended, etc.

The default text color for quotes and links in SiteOrigin North is red, i really don’t want that. I’d like to change that to normal color.

I’d also like to move my header logo and category links to the left of the screen. This is a minor detail and i’d much prefer to fix the text color first.

I’d love any tips on how to fix that text color, i’ve even been into the CSS file and trying to change the color under the links category, and it does nothing.
