The changes I make to my page are only visible in Admin-mode. I see all changes and the site works just fine, but when I open the site on another browser where I’m not signed in, I don’t see any changes.

Please, try clearing the cache of your caching plugin and then check the home page changes to see if they are reflecting.
To troubleshoot the board page, try temporarily deactivating all plugins not authored by SiteOrigin, in that state, does the issue resolve?

Unfortunately the troubleshooting you recommended did not work…my friend already tried the same things and they had no effect.
Do you have any other things I could try?

Thanks for your reply. Please, clear your caching plugin and then deactivate it. Do the same to any other caching/optimization plugins you might have installed. Once that’s done, please, let us know the change you aren’t seeing on your home page and we’ll take a look.

My friend uploaded W3 cache and purged the cache and then optimized it. This seems to have helped and the problems have disappeared!
