Change viewport px width

I need for my webpage to break sooner for my header to look ok on my iPad but I can’t find the file where I can make that change. I though if I increased it some, I would not have overlap I am seeing. I am familiar with HTML and CSS, but not php and scripting.

Other thoughts appreciated.

    Kathy,

    I’m not sure what you mean exactly. But when I go to the site you listed on my mobile device I see “AMERICAN Post and Construction” In large bold font. and then underneath I see ” Decks, Fences Pole Buildings” along with the phone number.

    I would get rid of all of that info and leave that section blank. This would make the menu bar the top item. Then I would change the “Home” link in the menu bar to ” American Post and Construction”. The “Decks, Fences Pole Buildings” along with the phone number can be added underneath your “Featured Projects” banner replacing the default sub-text thats currently there. Or it could be placed on your contact page. Just a few suggestions. Good luck.

    If dailyretraction’s solution doesn’t work for you, I can add a setting in the next update that’ll let you specify the masthead breakpoint. I could see this being useful to quite a few people.

    I really want to see the name and services right at the top. I did dump the logo text-graphic for text so now the overlap for that in-between width (which is my ipad in a vertical position) is not as ugly.

    Greg – I really think being able to set the masthead breakpoint would be a good addition.

    Appreciate feedback. from you both. I am a newbie at WP and struggling with mastering themes. It is nice that I get a reply when stuck. Doesn’t happen often.
