Change the Header Formatting?

10 years ago · Last reply by Support Assistants 10 years ago

^^That’s a screenshot of the header as-is. The client is poor and cannot afford a custom header so we’re using the “Type it here and save it” header. :)

Except, I can’t find a way of editing any of the formatting. I’d like to make AF Christian Fellowship larger and a different color but although I can find the place to edit the padding and the font type, I can’t find size or color. I imagine most people don’t use this header which is why you haven’t put the controls into the dashboard; if you give me the custom CSS with the default size and color in it, I can put that into the custom CSS section and edit from there.

Thank you!

    Hi HavaWorkman

    If that’s the site title in the header you can use the following in Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Site Title */
    header#masthead .hgroup h1 {
    	color: #666666;
    	font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;
    	font-size: 36px;
    }
