Change color of the white text page on home page

Hi,
I like to change the color of the white text area on my home page. But only there.

I know how I can change the color of all pages via the dashboard.
I can change the background color too, but that only affects the color underneath the text area.

I’ve searched the whole style.css but couldn’t find out which element or class is responsible for the color of the text area.

My website uses a static homepage. Does that make any difference?

Another solution could be making the text area transparent for all pages. That will work because I can change the color just underneath that area on different pages.

Who could do a suggestion?

Thanks!

    Hi Geert

If your site is live, please send through a link and I’ll take a look. If it isn’t, please let me know which layout option you’re running, full width or boxed.

(Please remember not to edit style.css directly as changes will be lost during theme update. Our Custom CSS tutorial can be found here: https://siteorigin.com/basics/modifying-theme-design-with-custom-css/.
