Center last line of text in justified paragraph

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Hi, I am using the SiteOrigin Editor to insert text. At the moment, all I am getting is either all justified or all centred text.

I want the main part of the paragraph (all full lines of text) to be justified, but instead of having the last line left-aligned (because it has not enough words for a fully justified line) I’d like for it to be centred. I want this to be applied only to this one widget on one page. Hope someone can help!

Thanks,
Annie

    Hi Annie

    Thanks for posting.

The SiteOrigin Editor mirrors the Visual tab editor in the WordPress Classic Editor. The justified button was removed from the Editor from WordPress 4.7 onwards. Here is a post showing two methods of adding it again:

    https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-add-underline-and-justify-text-buttons-in-wordpress/

Unfortunately, I’m not aware of a simple editor method of setting the text-align-last value. More on that here: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_text-align-last.asp.

This is the sort of topic we can assist within our premium support scope but is a bit beyond the scope we’re able to offer here on the forum.
