Can’t update Vantage free version

Hello,

 

I’ve just purchased the premium Vantage theme, but I can’t update the free version. He can’t remove the old (free) theme. How can I get the premium version to work?

    Hi Achterhoekmm

    This probably has to do with write permissions. This means WordPress doesn’t have the correct permissions to remove the old folder. This is something your webhosts will be able to fix for you.

    In the mean time, you could delete the old folder using FTP. Just navigate to /wp-content/themes/, you’ll find the Vantage folder in there. Once you’ve done that, you upload the Vantage Premium zip file from your order email. Please let us know if you need help with any of these steps.
