Hello,

I have deactivated and reactivated plugins but I still can’t find the CSS controls.

This is my first time using the Custom CSS feature for this website. The website loads but no controls show up :(

Please help!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ola

    Thanks for reaching out.

If you have the SiteOrigin CSS plugin activated you’ll find SiteOrigin CSS at AppearanceCustom CSS. Once there, click the eye icon to access the visual editor.

I have done that already. This is not my first time using this feature.
However, this is a new WordPress account and website so I don't know what's up.

    Please help. Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi, thanks for the update.

To confirm; SiteOrigin CSS is listed in your plugins list and activated but the AppearanceCustom CSS menu item isn’t available?

The appearance custom css is available.

However, on clicking the eye icon, the visual editor controls do not appear. I can't edit CSS because the visual editor has no control feature e.g. padding, margins, and so on.

    Hi, I Work Here

You can try seeking a working baseline by temporarily deactivating all plugins except for SiteOrigin. Does the issue resolve with only SiteOrigin CSS activated?

I saw this in the forum chats and tried it. Still nothing.

    Hi, I Work Here

You can extend the plugin conflict test as follows:

    – Temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Nineteen.
    – Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for SiteOrigin CSS.

Test the issue in the above state.
