Can´t edit Page Builder building blocks. Just a spinning circle.

Hello. I also have the same issue with that circle and not being able to edit those areas where I used the Page Builder. I discovered the problem after the recent security update from WordPress. Tried to disable all plugins but it didn´t resolve the problem. I use the YouTheme Avenue theme.

    Hi Richard

Sorry to hear about the hassle.

To confirm, you de-activated all plugins besides Page Builder, at once? If you did, the next check would be to switch over to a default theme like Twenty Fifteen and re-check. All other plugins should also be de-activated during this test.

    Hello Andrew.

Tried to change to Twenty Fifteen theme and deactivate all plugins and it still didn´t work. Do you have any ideas. I can also tell that I have another website with almost identical setup with theme and plugins and it works fine there.

Thanks for the feedback. If all plugins were de-activated at once and there was no improvement, and the same happened with a default theme then we could perhaps be dealing with a memory limit. You could try increasing the PHP memory available to WordPress.

Let us know if that helps. Increase memory to 256M

Two more ideas to try before the idea above:

    1. Check for JS errors on any page:

    2. Clear your site and browser’s cache. We’ve just had a few updates so it’s possible old scripts are being cached.

    Thanks

    Hello Andrew.

Don´t know really what the reason was, but when updating WordPress to new version 4.2 Page Builder started working again. Thanks for your support and effort to help me out.
