I have been running into 505 errors when trying to install plugins. After disabling all plugins, and upgrading the site to PHP 5.3 or PHP 5.5, I also get a 505 error. Thus, it appears the theme is causing the issue.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Summer Brow

This won’t be an issue with the theme. It is most likely a server permissions issue after updating the php version. Some of the auto installers come preconfigured for certain environments, with defaults set that you may not be using. Please see here for the most likely solution to your problem

Let us know how you get on.
