Despite several hours of effort, I am now turning to the forum in hopes that someone can help me with this issue. Although in visual mode I can see the Audio player right in front of me, there seems to be a conflict when using page builder and an MP3 player or audio player.
I’ve tried installing several audio widgets and inserting them into page builder fields to no avail, although I may not be configuring them properly. it gets tiring waiting for documentation and trying to figure out what I might be doing wrong.
What I’m looking to do is use page builder along with an audio player.
Has anyone had success in accomplishing this task? I look forward to any and all replies and suggestions.

Have you tried inserting your media via the Visual Editor widget in Page Builder? To get access to this widget first install the following plugin: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/. Once installed hit + in Page Builder, search for Visual Editor, insert and then try using it’s Add Media button to insert your MP3.

Trying to install this directly onto my WordPress site but so far only finding an option that allows me to download to my computer which is not what I want to do in this case. Usually a plug-in selected within word press allows you to install that plug-in directly to the WordPress site. I will keep searching for a solution or perhaps you’ll have a better idea for me.
Although I like the Vantage website theme, I’m about ready to find something simpler that meets my needs especially with regard to audio files and their integration into the website. If you have any suggestions for such a theme that can be used for a business website please let me know.

No good. As soon as I activated page builder again and did the steps you suggested, once again, the audio player and file it is supposed to be linked to is not visible on the page. Would you suggest a certain audio player that works with Vantage?
Or, can you suggest a different theme that is easier to use with audio files but still looks really good, and allows me to have multiple columns and design my page layouts like page builder does?

Alternatively here is a quick video. I first add an audio file via the regular Visual editor tab. Next I remove that and add the same file via the Visual Editor widget in Page Builder.

Thanks for your reply and helpful video. At this point, I have started working with a totally different theme which is not giving me the same headaches. I just need to get something working quickly and for now the Vantage’s theme wasn’t it for me, as beautiful as it is.
I even debated yesterday about going back to Weebly, but it decided to stick with Word press which I understand is much more search engine friendly and has so many free plug-ins.
