Can we edit the Demo Slider in Vantage theme?

I know I can duplicate the Demo slider but the silde is not available to edit as is. Is there a way to load the slide?

Thanks for running Vantage. As you might have seen our home page slider tutorial is here:

The default slider is unfortunately just a code snapshot and not editable.
