Can the single post template be changed?

Hi,

Is it possible to change the template that posts are displayed with? Since I upgraded Vantage Premium and WP, my posts have a sidebar like the home/landing page, with all the recent posts archives and that kind of stuff. Perhaps it was always that way. I can’t remember but I dont think so. Can the template be changed to remove clutter and have a full width template like you can do with pages templates. There is no menu option that I can find.

Thanks :)

    Hi Hugh

The easiest way I can think to do this would be to use Jetpack Widget Visibility:

Using that plugin you could force all your widgets to not display on the single post page, thereby allowing posts to load full width.
