I recently uploaded a new plugin to enable facebook for comments on my blog, and now I can’t access the wp-admin Dashboard. I’m not sure if these two are related, but I can’t do anything at this point.
When I had a problem loggin into my dashboard, I was instructed by my hosting co. (godaddy) that clearing my browser history might work – it did :) As soon as I cleared my browser history (cache) I was able to go back to my dashboard.
Hi Dorie
Sorry to hear about the hassle. You’ll need to de-activate that plugin via FTP. Here i how: http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-wp-admin/.
Thanks for your feedback there Trish. Certainly worth a shot.
