Can I override ‘siteorigin_panels_the_widget’ in my own plugin?

Hi there,

I want to use a filter to strip out the HTML for the widgets supplied in SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, so that I can have full control over the structure. I have already done this for the row structure, but widgets are proving a slightly different issue.

I am happy with the teal and yellow parts, but the red pretty much all has to go. Any ideas, and do you think I am going in the right direction by attacking siteorigin_panels_the_widget?
