Can I add shortcode as element of Page Builder

Hi,
Thanks for nice plugin. I have searched your support and documentation but It seems this works just for widgets.
To clear my question for example I have a shortcode like this [shortcodename id=”1″] I know I can put it on text widget or on text of visual element of page builder but what I need is to have an element on page builder and when user clicks on that it adds that shortcode as well.

Please let me know if you need more explanation.
Waiting to hear from you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mafton

    Thanks for reaching out.

Not sure I’m following. Are you looking to have a shortcode rendered on click? I don’t imagine that’s possible if this is what you’re after.

    Hi, I Work Here

Sorry, still don’t think I’m following. If you’re looking to created a Page Builder layout within a regular widget area then you can use a widget called the Layout Builder that comes with Page Builder and is available at Appearance > Widgets.

Perhaps you can try explain your last question further?

    Hi,
Well let me explain more. It seems that siteorigin page builder automatically fetch all the widgets from theme. So my question is what if there is a widget on the theme and we want it to show just on the widgets under appearance not on the page builder. and also reverse for example we have a widget and we want it to show just on page builder elements and not show that on the appearance / widgest.
I have found this “There are a few ways that you can either register widgets that only appear in widgets area or Page Builder.” on your documentation here https://siteorigin.com/docs/page-builder/
But this is only one sentence and I could not find an explanation of how to do this.
I hope I could explain clearly.

Let me know if you need any more details.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for explaining. You can remove your widgets from Page Builder using the following filter:

    siteorigin_panels_widgets

The argument is just an associative array where the keys are the class names.
