Call to Action widgets disappeared within Page Builder rows

The PageBuilder rows are showing up but the Call to Action widgets inside say, “Missing Widget, SiteOrigin widget Cta widget.” When you click on the widget edit button I get this error message:

“The widget SiteOrigin_Widget_Cta_widget is not available. Please try locate and install the missing plugin. Post on the support forums if you need help.”

All the correct SiteOrigin plug-ins are installed, they are all up to date and so is WordPress. The Call to Action widget is active. It only seems to be the call to action widgets that are working, the other widgets I’m using are fine.

I have deactivated each one of my other non SiteOrigin plug-ins and it didn’t make any difference.

As far as I know I have no plug-ins that use cache. So there is no cache to clear. I’ve tried it in more than one browser as well.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sue

    Apologies for the hassle.

An error in the Widgets Bundle (WB) 1.5 update caused this. We resolved 48hrs later by releasing WB 1.5.1. The result is that any CTA widgets created using 1.5 will be stuck with the problem.

    1. What version of the WB plugin are you using?
    2. Which version of the WB was installed when you created your CTA widgets?
    3. How many CTA widgets do you have, approximately.

I think everything broke when I updated the Widgets Bundle to 1.5.1. So yes, I am using Widgets Bundle 1.5.1.

I’m not sure which version of WordPress I was using when I created the CTA widgets. It was only within the last week or so, so I’m going to guess, 4.3.1.

I think I created about five instances on one page of the CTA widgets.

Join need to re-create the CTA widgets I made before?

Typo above, Join = Do I

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sue

The version of WordPress shouldn’t matter as long as it was relatively current/new. Unfortunately, all CTA widgets created when Widgets Bundle 1.5 was running on your installation will need to be re-built. Apologies for the hassle. To test this out you can try inserting a CTA widget now, save and confirm that it’s editable.

I made one CTA widget test and it appears to be working. I’ll let you know if I have any more problems.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks for the feedback. Great, that’s the expected result. Apologies for the hassle caused between 1.5 and 1.5.1. If anything else comes up, let us know.

    All the best.
