Build Post Query not showing

Hello SiteOrigin,

I am using UMAG theme for my blog. I’m facing a problem here with the Build Post Query.

When I edit my Hightheme Main Slider under my Page, the “Build Post Query” tab with a Red circle shows ‘0’ post. When I click on the button, it has NO BUTTONS at all. It is supposed to show buttons like “Post Type”, “Post In”, “Taxonomies” etc according to my theme instruction manual, but I am seeing a black screen.

I have a total of 4 posts now, and I have tried re-posting my post but to no avail.

Please assist as I’ve tried fixing this bug for days.

Thank you!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Shawn

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Something else you can do is change to a default WordPress theme to see if the issue is theme related.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    Hello Greg,

Thanks for your reply. I’ve realised what the problem is. Its Optimize Press that’s causing the conflict. I guess it’s the optimize page builder that’s conflicting with SiteOrigin’s page builder. I have updated optimize press to the latest version but to no avail.

Any other way to solve the problem without having to deactivate optimize press? As I have important pages built from it and it needs to stay activated for the pages to run.

I look forward to your reply!

    Thank you,
    Shawn

    Hi Shawn

Unfortunately these sorts of conflicts are very difficult to solve. Especially when they’re with other commercial plugins where we don’t have access. If you have access to an error message, that might be of some help.
