[Bug Report] Stray character added before shortcode.

First of all thanks for this awesome plugin. I was able to rebuild our homepage in less than an hour.
We decided to officially support and recommend this plugin to our theme users @ http://SwiftThemes.Com

When adding a short code using a text widget, a stray character is added just before [.
I found that this stray character is ESCAPE CHARACTER, and is added when you are creating the slashed string for panel_data.

This happens only in safari, took me few hours to figure out what was going and why I was getting even spacing.

    Hi Satish

Thanks for reaching out. We appreciate your feedback and support.

Please find our developer documentation below in case you’re interested:

    https://siteorigin.com/docs/page-builder/
    https://siteorigin.com/docs/widgets-bundle/

Both are in their early stages and will be expanded upon moving forward.

Both projects are also on GitHub:

    Page Builder: https://github.com/wp-plugins/siteorigin-panels
    Widgets Bundle: https://github.com/siteorigin/so-widgets-bundle

Thanks for this bug report. I’ll log it now.

I ran through a test this morning using Safari, Page Builder and a Meta Slider shortcode in a Text widget. I’m unfortunately not able to re-create at this time. Could you please confirm the plugin you were testing with. Or if the shortcode originated from a theme, please let me know which one. If I still fail to re-create after that, I might ask you if you can test again on your side with all other plugins de-activated, to rule out a plugin conflict.

    Thanks :)

    Hi Andrew,
I just checked again, I could not reproduce the problem.
Might be my browser acting weird at that time.

Thanks for the quick response and sorry for the false alarm.

Will report with screenshots if this happens again.

    Cheers

Super, really glad to hear it’s gone for now.

For sure, let us know if you come across this again or anything else.

If you’d prefer, it’s also possible to log issues directly on GitHub:

    All the best.
