Buddypress/bbPress/Vantage Theme w/ Sitebuilder

Hi all!

I have come across more issues regarding the page builder, Vantage theme and buddypress/bbPress.

My page used to show the homepage on every link that I clicked that had to do with buddypress and user profiles, though the snippet in this thread: https://siteorigin.com/thread/buddypress-disappeared-with-update/#comment-47046 fixed the issue.

The problem now is that the “Forum” link in the user profile (which is supposed to show all forum posts by the selected user) is showing the home page when I click on it. When I disable the page builder the link works, but then all my pages don’t show as they should (obviously because the page builder is disabled).

I am not sure what to do from here, I am thinking the same type of code would work, just aimed towards bbPress and not buddypress. I have no clue how to write that though, so any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Kind Regards

    UPDATE

I just logged out of my account on my site to see what the registration page looks like, and it too will not load.

    ANOTHER UPDATE

I think I have found the problem. When I removed BuddyPress and bbPress widgets from the homepage (such as who’s online, members, latest forums, etc) the registration page and user’s forum page seems to work.

    Cheers

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Trevor

Thanks for digging into this and reporting back, much appreciated.

The unfortunate position that we’re in at the moment is that we don’t yet have the man power to dive into Page Builder and BuddyPress & BBPress compatibility. I’ll log this report now though so it can be looked at in the future. We’d definitely like to but haven’t made it there yet.

If the break is occurring when these widgets are added to your home page via Page Builder you could perhaps look into re-building your home page with a custom page template and call the widgets you require via PHP do_shortcode. Just an idea to try work around this.
