BuddyPress + Page Builder – Register Page, No Content

After a couple hours of stressing myself out, I’ve found that BuddyPress’ Regsiter page has a severe problem with Page Builder. I thought this was a Vantage theme problem, but it’s not.

So with both BuddyPress and Page Builder enabled, the Register page does not include its form elements. It’s completely devoid of code where it should be. Disable Page Builder, and the form is generated as per the norm.

Is there a way to have Page Builder disabled on certain pages?

    Hi Bryan

Head to Settings > Page Builder and see if you can’t disable Page Builder for BuddyPress post types. This is how we usually handle WooCommerce / Page Builder clashes.

Let me know how it goes.

Unfortunately, BuddyPress doesn’t have its own Post Type, instead it uses the Pages type, and fills it in from there.

Ok, thanks for the wait, I had a chance to test now.

    Ref: http://buddypress.org/support/topic/registration-link-redirects-to-home-page/.

    Please can you confirm that:

    1. Settings > General: Anyone can register is checked.
    2. Test in your browser’s private/incognito mode or logout.

I’m currently able to run a BuddyPress register page with Page Builder activated.

Anyone can register is enabled, and I’ve used extra browsers (firefox, chrome, opera, ie), computers, and mobile devices to see the registration form. I’m using the Vantage theme, and upgraded it to Premium to see if the problem would be resolved with that. Alas, nothing.

    Hi Andrew,

I appreciate this is an old thread but I have what appears to be the same problem so I decided it was best to post here.

Buddypress pages show homepage content with PageBuilder 2.1.
Settings > General: “Anyone can register” is checked.

The problem disappears if you restore PageBuilder version 2..0.7.
