i’m using Page Builder on page http://speaker.miloshapiro.com/milo-beyond-speeches/full-speech-ahead-podcast . As you can see there, toward the bottom, I have an image (the one with Mimi in it) and to the left I have two Visual Editor widgets. The first is the simple line of black text. The second is a quote from a guest on my show.
What I wanted to do was put the guest’s quote on a different colored background, probably with white text, so that it stood out a bit. I was surprised to discover that I could choose a text color, but not a background color. Is there no way to say, “This zone here should be on a dark blue background” using the Visual Editor? If not, is there another widget that would accomplish that without having to turn the whole thing into a graphic?
Also, short of a colored background, is there a way to at least say, “Put an outline around this contents of this Visual Editor zone” so that it looks like the quote is in a box?

Hi Milo
Thanks for reaching out.
Page Builder 2.0 now gives you the ability to add both row and widget styling. To style a row, click the wrench icon on the far right of a row and edit that row. On the right you’ll see a few tabs, click Design, there you can adjust background and border color. The same goes for widgets, edit a widget, click the Design tab on the right and set background and border color as required.
Let me know if that helps.
