Hi I can select post/pages for the post carousel but although the added items show their titles the boxes are black in prevue gray on page (changes to blue when hovering over) No content can be seen.

Hi Mike
The post loop/carousel works by adding the featured image to the display. To get an image to display here you will need to set a featured image for your pages. the featured images will be displayed on the page itself, but this can be removed with some Custom CSS.
