Very bizzare Pagebuilder/Javascript issue on Home Computers only

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to read my post and look into my issue. I greatly appreciate it.

I have been using Vantage Premium and Pagebuilder for a few years and I have never seen an issue like this. Most of the time I can figure things out and fix problems via Google searches but I am running in circles with this one.

I am having what seems to be a Javascript issue (according to console) that is preventing the page builder from loading correctly within “Edit Page.” The Pagebuilder tab seems to have moved down below Revisions and it does not work.

At first, I thought this was a plugin/coding issue because the issue came about right after downloading a new plugin. I was looking for a plugin to set conditional options for mobile devices and I found Custom Content. (https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-content-shortcode/) This plugin didn’t do what I was hoping it would and it caused the issue that I stated above. I uninstalled and completely removed the plugin however the problem didn’t go away.

I have spent all weekend trying to figure this out and I connected with a live WordPress Expert who spent 3 hours trying to diagnose the problem and they were unable to. I also contacted HostGator and Sitelock and they are unsure as well.

What is bizarre about this is that it is only happening on computers that are connected to my home network but if you were to login to the website connected to your internet, the page would load fine. I have tested on 3 PCs, a laptop, and a mobile device. One of the PC’s has a fresh install of windows as well. I have also tested on different browsers, cleared cache, cleared %temp%, disabled plugins, changed routers, changed dns settings, tested another theme, disabled plugins, ran WP optimize to clean up option tables, etc. I have spent all weekend trying to figure out this problem and the only related issue that I found from another SiteOrigin, Vantage and Pagebuilder user can be seen here: https://siteorigin.com/thread/siteorigin-page-builder-tab-is-gone/. However, for this user, he was able to download Firefox and the problem wasn’t there. That’s not the case for me as I have tried several browsers on multiple PCs connected to my network.

I also have a subdomain with the same Vantage theme, plugins, layout, etc. and everything works fine on that website but not my primary domain. The only difference between my primary and subdomain is that I didn’t try to install the Custom Content plugin to the sub domain.

Thanks again for taking the time to read this post and I appreciate any help or advice.
Blake
